DFW MUSICIANS SERVICES LLC has enjoyed steady growth at the local, regional, and national levels since 2000.
DFWMS contracts local musicians for national Broadway tours in Dallas at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, including A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Anything Goes, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Billy Elliot, Book of Mormon, Chicago, Finding Neverland, Fun Home, Hair, If/Then, Jekyll and Hyde, The King and I, Matilda, Motown, Newsies, Phantom of the Opera, Porgy and Bess, Something Rotten, and Young Frankenstein. DFWMS contracted the pit musicians for DreamGirls (June-July 2016) and Bella (Sept-Oct 2016) at the Dallas Theater Center in the Arts District of Dallas. In July 2014, DFWMS was the Music Coordinator for Prism Theatrics LLC’s inaugural production of Thoroughly Modern Millie at the historic Will Rogers Auditorium in Fort Worth, TX. In 2014, DFWMS became the home of the Dallas Festival Orchestra.
DFWMS has contracted orchestras for The Music Paradigm, Beatles 1964, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Hans Zimmer Live, Il Divo, Johnny Mathis, Luciano Pavarotti, Diana Ross, Mannheim Steamroller, Rod Stewart, Donna Summer, The Irish Tenors, and Stevie Wonder, among many others. Also, a string group backing Dierks Bentley at the 50th-Anniversary Academy of Country Music Awards: Superstar Duets was broadcast on CBS from AT&T Stadium on April 19, 2015. Ms. Brooks has acted as Director of Orchestra Operations for the Metropolitan Classical Ballet in Arlington, Texas.
DFWMS has participated in the galas of the Fort Worth Symphony, Fort Worth Opera, Van Cliburn Foundation, The Gladney Center for Adoption, The Harvey Martin Dream Foundation, and Texas Ballet Theater, and provides musicians for many DFW Churches, recording projects, weddings, and other important family events.
The grand-opening ceremonies for the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, featured one of her orchestras and the spectacular debut of the “Gala Girls,” which has performed from Florida to Las Vegas to AT&T (Cowboy) Stadium.
Even though Ms. Brooks specializes in larger ensembles, she also contracts brass and woodwind quintets, string quartets, trios, and solo musicians for many events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond. No event is too big or too small, and there is no limitation on the type of group or style of music. Her ability to customize each ensemble for the distinct characteristics of each event is Ms. Brooks’ trademark, as well as demonstrating versatility with all styles of music.
